Sunday School!

Donald and I finally made it to Sunday school! Enjoyed the class, we are definitely the youngest people there. Here is Daphney in her Sunday attire. Usually no one gets to see her cute outfits because she sleeps in the car seat most Sundays. Big thanks to Donna (Donald's mom) for the beautiful scarf I am sporting (she knit it herself)!

16 Weeks Old!

Daphney continues to surprise us with fun new things each day. She chews on her fist ALL day long and is a fountain of slobber. I think she might be on the verge getting some teethies! She laughs, squeals, and babbles all day long and it is absolutely the greatest thing in the world to watch!

150 millions dollars?

Sorry there are no sweet pictures of Daphney to go with this post. I vent as I sit disgusted watching the television show Access Hollywood realizing that the symbol of our country has become the "New" Hollywood. There are more star studded "inauguration" parties than there are for the Oscars. It is pitiful to see the influence that these idiots and the media have on ignorant Americans who are riding this emotional high of "hope" and "change".  Our new president is nothing more than a pop-culture icon elected by people who think that once he is in office they are going to start receiving one-hundred dollar bills in the mail. America should be ashamed that this swearing-in of our 44th president, a time that should be respected and revered, is just another reason for those who have little to no political knowledge to party. It makes me sick to see the voice of mindlessness ring so loudly.

Daphney is learning tons of new things so very fast. I bought her a 'Bumbo' today to help her sit on her own. She looks like such a big girl!

My mom, dad, brother, and sister-in-law came to Jackson to have our second round of Christmas. As always the time spent together was wonderful.

Happy New Year!!

What a year 2008 has been for us!! New city, new baby, new jobs, wow! We are so thankful for all that we have been blessed with during this incredible year. Daphney continues to bring us new surprises each day. She is becoming very verbal and is interacting with us more and more each day. This past week I started back to work... very sad. My dear sweet mom came over to Jackson to help me with the transition. Too bad she can't just be my nanny! Here are some pics of her in the nursery having some fun!

Baby Einstein

Part of Daphney's Christmas was Baby Einstein videos. I was not sure if she would be able to watch the TV but she was mesmerized. Some would call this bad parenting, but a little TV time never hurt anybody...Look how good Donald turned out...:)

First Christmas in Jackson!!!

Our first Christmas in Jackson has come and gone. It was a memorable one with many "firsts". Daphney racked up with tons of books and toys on her first visit from Santa.  Another first, I did ALL the cooking and everything turned out yummy! Donald's parents and brother drove in to celebrate with us. The day was absolutely wonderful!
