We're Growing

Daphney had her 4 month checkup and shots:( this past Thursday. Here are her stats: 25 and 1/4 inches, 13lbs 12oz, and 39.3 cm head circumference. Her weight went from 24 percentile to 52 percentile! Here we are in the car on our way to the doctor's office.

Rice Cereal!!

This evening with our last bottle I gave Daphney her first rice cereal. I don't think the event can be considered much of a success because hardly anything actually got swallowed. This could be in part to the fact that I did not have a baby spoon and just used a teaspoon. Silly parents.

Daphney Slept until 8:00!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, you heard it right. Daphney stayed in her bed until 8:00 this morning. This is a landmark event that I never thought would come. I put her down around 9'ish last night, heard some noises from her room during the night, but she was able to work things out herself until this morning. These are pics of her after I moved her to my bed.

Happy 4 Month Birthday!!!

Today Daphney is a whopping 4 months old. Time has flown by so fast. She is no longer my little newborn baby. I am filled with bittersweet emotions as I look back on the stages of these past months that have so quickly come and gone. Each day is an exciting process of moving forward and growing, but even in these happy moments I am ironically a little sad because I am loosing a little piece of my sweet "baby" girl each day. I cherish with immense joy all that she is and all the happiness she has brought to us.
