I have to brag

I have to brag a bit on my sweet husband... I came home today from work to find the table set with my good china/crystal/silver, candles lit and the following spread: freshly brewed sweet tea, salad topped with strawberries, blue berries, feta, and pecans, asparagus, parmesan stuffed tomatoes, steak, cake from Julep, and, freshly brewed creme brulee coffee. Such a surprise.

I have a wonderful husband.

Vacation

Donald got a whole 9 nine days off from the U so we packed up and hit the road to visit the fam. The trip was as follows: Jackson to Oak Grove to Jasper, to Louisville, to Jasper, to Oak Grove then home. Needless to say I came back a bit tired from all the traveling. Well worth it to spend time with all of our favorite people! Most of our week was spent in Louisville, KY with Donald's mom's side of the family. Daphney traveled exceptionally well. She did return home with a new found love for screaming. Hopefully a behavior that will be short lived.

Daphney was 10 months old on the 2nd. She is standing all the time and taking small steps. Life with this sweet girl is getting busier by the day!
