This morning I completed my first half-marathon! I was just aiming to finish the race but ended up doing really well, especially considering it was my first and I did NO training!! I placed 4th in my age group and 16th in overall female. It was a very gratifying and HOT run! Daphney and mom were there to cheer me on at the finish. I have really come to love running and can't wait for my next race! I liken running to my life as a Christian. The road before me sometimes seems overwhelming, but when I hope in the Lord I am more than a conqueror through His strength.

i just knew you were going to put hebrews 12:1 at the end!!...but i looove that verse in isaiah as well. :) congrats on 13.1!!!
